Step 2 - Boost! Boosting is a crucial part to racing. To perform a boost most effectively, you will need to do it on a straight part of the course to maintain speed.
Step 3 - Tricks! No tricks needed in a race folks! Looking cool in a race doesn't really help you win it, so just focus on the techniques.
Step 4 - Corners! Cutting corners can help you effectively win the race, (I would use a boost while cutting a corner) but not just winning the race, it can be a big help with the time that you complete the course in.
